We just got back from our (sorta) annual trip to Scottsdale, and for the first time Lisa was part of all the traditions. And boy, was she ever told about the traditions. :-)
The weather was beautiful, even though it was well over 100° every day.
We arrived on the 4th, and after a mini-birthday celebration for Lisa, Russ and Barbara whisked us off to Chase Stadium for a Diamondbacks game (they lost, but oh well). There were fireworks outside the stadium after the game.
We stayed at a local resort, but we found ourselves enjoying the pool and hospitality at Barb and Russ' more. The drinks were good at the resort, though.
And yes, our favorite flatbread pizza tradition was also present. :-)
