Welcome to my camp. Grab yourself a hot cup of coffee or tea and sit a spell by the fire. Let me tell you a little about myself.
been making knives for about 10 years, give or take. You see, ever since I
was a youngster, whether I was working on the family horse farm or running
through the woods near my boyhood home, I always carried a knife.
started making knives as a result of meeting a blacksmith at a rendezvous.
He made knives, tomahawks, and all the other iron objects a smith makes. I
asked him if he would teach me, and he agreed, but only on the condition
that I learn traditional blacksmithing, not just knife making.
a Journeyman Smith with the American
Bladesmith Society, which means I forge most of my blades. I make
historically-inspired knives from plain and hard working to fancier show
pieces. Every knife I forge is made from high carbon steel-- you won't
find any stainless here!
