Here are a couple shots of our fireplace, before and after we painted it and added the mantel and new sconces. (Here’s a link to our fireplace painting video.)

The family room is much brighter now, and when we get the fireplace going it’s really cozy. All we need to do is figure out what we want on the mantel.
